Proverbs 10:22: "The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it."
- This proverb is in sharp contrast to our society who measures a person's value according to his wealth.
- Our relationship with God is our most precious possession.
- This blessing isn't just limited to the rich, but is for all who call on the Name of the Lord, for everyone who believes in Jesus Christ.
- Neither is it something which we have to work hard for, because we can't contribute a thing to that which God gives us freely. Jesus has already done it!
- Those who only seek material prosperity will never know the true joy found in God.
- Do you enjoy the blessing of a relationship with God or are you chasing after something else in the hope that it will bring you fulfilment?
Prayer: Lord, thank you for bestowing on us the greatest blessing ever through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Thank you that I may have a relationship with You. Open my eyes to see that there is nothing on earth that could possibly compare. Amen.
