Psalm 103:1-5
Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
and heals all your diseases,
and crowns you with love and compassion,
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
- Your youthfulness and strength comes from knowing what God has done for you.
- Through Christ He has turned your life around: He has forgiven all your sins, saved you from eternal illness and death and gave you his eternal love and compassion.
- Isn't this reason to praise Him ever more? The act of praising is the thing that restores you!
Prayer: Lord God, I want to praise you with all of my soul, I want to praise your holy name and not forget any of your gifts to me. Please restore my strength as I do this. Amen
