Prayer: Father God, I long for you to lift me up and give me the deep security and peace that the Gospel promises. I must admit that spending quality time with you, confessing my need and dependence on you and trusting you to provide for me is the practical stumbling block keeping me from experiencing your grace. Please help me to get over this barrier and experience your love and care through your Spirit and to be truly lifted up by you. Amen.
