Matt 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

... It is not religious righteousness - the kind of outside 'goodness' the religious establishment of Jesus' day portrayed.
... Jesus wants inside goodness (Luk 11:37). If you think you have it... you don't.
King Jesus, we need a goodness that can only come from you. You have met the Kingdom criteria in our place so we can enter in your Name. Please help us to live up to who we are in Christ. Amen
