Kingdom of Heaven

Hi Blogger,

Matt 5:18
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them... Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

... I think most of us make this mistake: we either disregard God's laws because we say 'Christ has fulfilled it all', or we try to keep the laws in order to try to win God's favour.
... Neither of these ways are the real Christianity.
... As you read God's laws it should say to you "you can't do this, you can't keep IT", but as that thought settles in your mind you must hear "but Christ has fulfilled it in my place".
... Now, go one step further and say: "I am now a child of God through faith in Christ - let me do what pleases him."

King Jesus, your Kingdom has laws and you fulfilled them all. I now ask that I will delight in doing your will as you delight in loving me. Amen
