When any change is required we have an image or a role model in mind that embodies what you are aspiring to change about yourself. Using someone else's personality as a cookie cutter for yourself requires a tremendous amount of faith in that person. What if he or she fails?
A christian is called to use Jesus Christ as their role model and more. He or she is to look to Jesus as the one who started their faith in him and he is the one that will complete it.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus that we can put our faith in you because you did not fail us in any way. Please help me to fix my eyes on you. Amen.
