- The Bible has a different view. The word for work and worship in the Hebrew Old Testament is the same.
- In fact - in the New Testament Paul writes:
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters" - Colossians 3:23.
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I owe every gift and skill and opportunity to work to you. Help me to worship you today as I do my work. Let this worship flow from the fact that you've worked for me on the cross and continues to work as you are busy making everything new. Amen.
