Hell is a place where the God of grace and mercy is not present. Instead it's the accuser and the father of lies that inhabit that horrid place forever:
Revelation 12:10 "I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, 'Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.'"
False accusations for an eternity, propped up by lie after lie - that is what the devil currently does and what he will do for an eternity.
In contrast to this Christians believe "Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies!" (Romans 8:33) and "Neither angels nor principalities nor powers nor anything else shall separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ" (Romans 8:38f).
Prayer: Our Father in heaven, we long to be where you are and we pray that we will now live in the confidence that nothing can separate us from you until then. Lord Jesus, to you all authority has been given to build your Kingdom - please do it and use me in the process. Amen
