Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4
- We are really so 'into' ourselves aren't we?
- By Christ's death on the cross he really wanted us to see how 'into' his people he is.
- That gives believers all the reason to 'rejoice in the Lord'.
- What Christians are called to do is to get their joy not from being 'into' a boss/colleague/friend/husband/wife's approval but to get it from the Jesus who was willing to die for them on the cross.
Prayer: Almighty God, you love your Son and he gives you eternal joy. Thank you that you have sent him to die and be raised for us so that we, through faith in him could get 'into' him. Please help us to see that we can now enjoy the same benefits and privileges that belongs to him. Amen
