Loving God in the church so much that I... fall down But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all,as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, "God is really among you!" 1 Corinthians 14:25 When the church gathers there is real power. This power does not lie in emotional manipulation and human guilt trips.   It lies in God's Good News being humbly proclaimed by sinners to sinners.   This truth can release us from the heavy weight of our ignorance so that we discover who we are and who God is.  Prayer - Lord Jesus Christ, I must confess that I don't gather with your church expecting to discover once more who I am and who you are.  Please forgive my ignorance and open my ears and heart so that I can hear your Gospel and respond to you in open, heartfelt and real worship.  Amen.
