An even better city
I know, I know - its easy to say London is great when it's summer! But the following truth could make it even better.

A city becomes great when the righteous give it their blessing; but a city is brought to ruin by the words of the wicked. Proverbs 11:11 - Words are powerful. Just ask Rupert Murdoch with the whole News of the World phone hacking scandal. It nearly crippled this city in the past month.
- And yes, you are right to expect that Christians and believers do the oposite - not to ruin the city but to bless it. That is one of the reasons God created his church.
- Our blessing is not just supposed to be words, but it is supposed to be actions: Christian teachers, doctors, caretakers, caterers... each one serving as if they are serving the righteous Christ.
Prayer Lord Jesus Christ, you blessed the city by dying for it. We pray that your word in the mouths of your people will have real power to redeem, save and heal people. Amen.
