Who's the judge?

• Most of us will agree that the world needs justice in order to function.

• The problem is that we install ourselves as the judge over other people's lives - especially people that claim to be fellow Christians.

• A question that takes us to the heart of the problem could be: When a fellow Christian (spouse, friend, housemate) sins against you, do you feel the right to punish him or her, or do you trust that Christ's death on the cross was punishment enough for his or her sin?

Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, as all of us deal with injustice, hurt and sin against us at some point in our lives, help us to trust that you are the ultimate judge and that you took the punishment for those that would trust in you. Amen
